Linda Roberts is a talented artist working mostly in beads – those teeny, tiny ones that tax every bit of my limited patience! She also creates in polymer clay, and I found two photos of metal clay work. I’m not sure if she’s a relative newcomer to metal clay, or if she just hasn’t shared her photos, but either way, this piece blew me away. I love the graceful shape and the way the gold and the gemstone are used to accent the piece perfectly. This piece is for sale on Etsy here.
I found this piece by using Tag Galaxy, a super-cool site where you plug in keywords and what’s returned is a 3D “planet” filled with photos from Flickr. Using your mouse, you can spin the sphere and check out the random selection of photos matching your keywords. I love this site when I’m feeling directionless in my search for metal clay art to feature. Enjoy!
